Sweet Six Months

Jamison is now officially 6 months old and I have every sleepless night to prove it. Why is it that such a big baby (18 lbs 4 oz) who devours jars of baby food, whole bananas, bread, french fries etc. still wakes up multiple times at night to eat? We're down to one bottle a night now but that doesn't stop him from getting up and asking every couple of hours hoping that in our state of delirium we won't remember if he's already been fed. And when we say "no" and give him a pacifier instead he cries and cries. Oh baby boy we love and would never let you go hungry but we REALLY need a full night's sleep around here!

But with Jamison (aka J Bug) there is so much to love. . . He's great at sitting, scooting, showing off his 2 teeth, jumping in his seat and being taken just about everywhere. He and I just came back from a quick trip to Utah to throw a baby shower for my sister Jana. It was his 3rd flight in 6 months and as always he was an angel. Besides the sleep thing, and the constant drool, and his uncanny ability to spot everything made of paper, we love this boy of ours.

*Is it just me or does Suzi look like she could be his mother?

Money Well Spent

Found this hat in the bargin bin at Children's Place for $1.99. It's been 24 hours and the hat hasn't left is head. Maybe it's the new, more stylish comfort item and he'll be ready to move on from the blanket. Highly unlikely, but maybe just maybe.

What gets me excited you ask?

Well an amazing BYU football victory on Saturday for sure. . .

Or going on a date with Nick to see Wicked last night . . . which I LOVED!

I'm not likin' it

He's gone 7 hours a day

and he only tells me about recess, lunch and PE.

He spends more waking hours with an adult who is a complete stranger to me.

Why does he come home with 3/4 of his lunch uneaten?

What is he learning?

Who does he play with and what kind of homes do they come from?

Will the things we taught him be enough to withstand all other influences?

Our house is too quiet.

Spencer looks like he's lost his best friend,

and I need some answers.
